Coeur d'Alene National Forest is a national forest in the Idaho Panhandle of northern Idaho, spanning 726,362 acres, or about 1,135 square miles, across Shoshone, Kootenai, and Bonner counties. It is one of three forests administered together as the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, along with Kaniksu and St. Joe. The forest's headquarters are in Coeur d'Alene, and ranger district offices are located in Coeur d'Alene and Silverton. It remains part of the federal national forest system as a component of the larger Idaho Panhandle group.
