Old Muskego Church was erected in 1844 by the first congregation organized by Norwegian Lutheran immigrants in America. Originally located on Indian Hill near Waterford in southeastern Wisconsin, it was reconstructed on the campus of Luther Theological Seminary in 1904. It stands as a witness to the Christian faith and sacrifice of the Norse pioneers who built this church for the proclamation of the gospel in their midst.
