Ahwahnee Tavern was a historic way-station on the old stage road from Raymond to Wawona. Built by William Sell in the late 1880's, it served lunch to many notable people, including President Theodore Roosevelt, Susan B Anthony, Andrew Carnegie, John D Rockefeller, and the Crown Prince of Belgium.
