This memorial park honors Colorado Western Slope casualties of the Vietnam War and remembers all brothers and sisters who never returned. It includes the Vietnam Service Ribbon for 1959-1975, whose yellow field with three vertical red stripes suggests the flag of the Republic of Vietnam and whose green border on each side alludes to that country's jungle. It also includes a memorial bench inscribed "In Memory of All Brothers & Sisters Who Never Returned" and a sculpture bearing the words "Welcome Home," and it was dedicated July 4, 2003.
