Paul Robeson was honored at Central State University with a bronze memorial created by artist George Carlson and commissioned by Drs. Camille O. and William H. Cosby. The work was donated by the Cosbys to the university as a tribute to Robeson, remembered as an actor, scholar, orator, and Civil Rights activist.
