Jenny Ross, wife of Alonzo M. Ross, was associated with the property that she and her husband purchased in 1879, where all their children were born on the farm they named "Rose Hill." The rose garden there is dedicated to her, and the garden, including the trellis, plants, and an automatic drip water system, was funded by the Four Seasons Garden Club and planted with heirloom plants.
