The Dr. Richard Davis House, also known as Woodside, stands in the Shady Hills neighborhood north of Marion, Indiana, as a notable work by Frank Lloyd Wright. Built in 1955 in Wright’s Usonian style, it reflects his vision for relatively modest, distinctly American homes defined by strong horizontal lines and a close relationship to their surroundings. An addition completed in 1960 extended the original design. Its architectural significance was formally recognized in 1997 when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
