Chiricahua is a “Wonderland of Rocks” with an 8-mile paved scenic drive, 17 miles of day-use hiking trails, and 11,985 acres that offer opportunities to experience its beauty, natural sounds, and inhabitants. The Faraway Ranch Historic District preserves the story of people who have called this area home. The monument ranges in elevation from 5,124 feet at the entrance station to 7,310 feet at the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain, allowing visitors to experience the differences of four seasons.
