From 1889 through 1963, this site housed a succession of businesses and uses, beginning with the R.L. 8 J Mercantile Company in 1889, followed by a brick building in 1916, Farmers Produce and Hatchery from 1933 to 1943, the Edmond Snooker Parlor in 1947, Fred's Plamor Club in 1949, and the Plamore Recreation Center in 1963.
