This circular park draws on the musical significance of the neighboring Surf Ballroom and honors the legacies and final performance of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson on February 2, 1959. Built and dedicated in 2011, it features an Art Deco inspired central spindle holding three 45 records in a position "Ready to Play." At night, bright blue neon lights illuminate each of the records.
