Spanish Fork Peak is a 10,192-foot summit in Utah County in the Wasatch Range, rising just east of Spanish Fork with striking relief above the Wasatch Front. Climbing more than 5,000 feet from the valley in only a few miles, it stands out as both a prominent landmark and a strenuous hiking destination, commonly reached by the Sterling Hollow Trail. Its slopes send runoff north into Maple Canyon and south to the Spanish Fork River, with both waters ultimately reaching Utah Lake. Officially named Spanish Fork Peak, it is also widely known locally as Maple Mountain, reflecting its importance to communities on both sides.
