B.A. Tucker was born in Decatur County, Tenn. on Dec. 3, 1861, and died in Scotts Hill, Tenn. on April 30, 1903, at the age of 41 years, 4 months, and 7 days. He founded Scotts Hill Normal College in Scotts Hill, Tenn. and was honored by his pupils, with W.B. Keeton, A.L. Goff, and W.T. Stubblefield serving as committee.
