The city clock was restored by Mr. Curtis Moore in memory of his father, Mr. Arthur L. Moore, a longtime clock maker and repairman in downtown Lenoir. This timepiece has been part of the city square since the early 1920’s and for many years was located on the side of the Bank of Lenoir Building.
