Lincoln Borglum Museum is a main interpretive center at Mount Rushmore National Memorial near Keystone, South Dakota, with two 125-seat theaters showing a 13-minute film about the monument. Below Grandview Terrace, a noted vantage point, it connects visitors to the Presidential Trail, which passes through Ponderosa pine forest to the Sculptor's Studio for closer views of the carved mountain. Built by Gutzon Borglum, the studio tells the story of the memorial's construction and displays tools used in the work. Nearby, an amphitheater presents a 30-minute dusk program on the monument's creation, followed by two hours of illumination.
