Veterans of World War II who lived in and left from Oglesby, Piety Hill, and Jonesville are honored for service between Dec. 7, 1941 and Sept. 2, 1945, with those marked by a star identified as killed in action; the memorial was dedicated by the citizens of a grateful community on Sept. 8, 1996.
