Angevine Cabin

Built by James Angevine in York Township around 1830, this cabin was home to James and Susan Angevine and their 12 children until 1835 after the family left New York City, traveled to Indiana, and purchased over 1,000 acres of land in York Township. The original cabin was donated to the Historical Society in 1988. In honor of Troop 4's One-Hundred-Year Anniversary Chartered on December 15, 1917 George Beiderhake III Eagle Scout Project 2017
