Colleen Monica Supinski was remembered as a remarkable friend with an encouraging word, a bright smile, and a deep concern for others, someone who motivated her friends and helped make things turn out well. She lived in the memory of her family, her Kappa Delta sorority sisters and other Susquehanna friends, her hometown community in Easton, Pa., her Manhattan friends, her Wall Street and other business colleagues, her track and cross country teammates, and those she met while studying in Aix en Provence. A 1996 graduate of Susquehanna and a 1992 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Green Pond, she worked to make a difference in others' lives as a Special Olympics volunteer, a member of Students Against Drunk Driving, and chair of Hoops for Hope, a cancer research fund-raising program. As an associate trader for Sandler O'Neill and Partners L.P., she welcomed challenges and shared close camaraderie with colleagues on their trading desk in the World Trade Center's south tower, where she was among friends on September 11, 2001.
