Nike World Headquarters, near Beaverton, Oregon, serves as the global base of Nike, Inc. In 2018 the 286-acre site contained more than 75 buildings, functioning as a sprawling corporate campus rather than a single office block. Its most distinctive feature is the way many buildings and facilities honor athletes and sports figures associated with Nike, including centers named for Joe Paterno, Tiger Woods, C. Vivian Stringer, Serena Williams, LeBron James, Michael Krzyzewski, and others, with statues of Woods and Krzyzewski and a running track named for Michael Johnson. The campus also entered recent cultural history during the COVID-19 pandemic and as a 2020 music-video setting.
