The Emily Kelley Building has housed the horse-drawn carriage industry, a video store, church, tavern, recreation center, hardware store, dancehall, and medical office, where Emily Kelley, born in 1988 and living until 2013, was the first infant patient. During her lifetime, Emily helped restore four downtown Ovid buildings and became an inner-city Detroit school teacher. An international scrapbook company is the current occupant.
