From its earliest days, Air Force rocket propulsion technology was advanced by the men and women of the Rocket Site and by their unique research, development, and test facilities, which for more than fifty years provided discoveries, developments, and applications of scientific and engineering answers to national defense rocket propulsion needs from April 1947 to January 2000.
