London Bridge was opened on October 10, 1971 by the Right Honorable the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Sir Peter Studd, in the presence of the Honorable Jack Williams, Governor of Arizona, with Robert P. McCulloch Sr. and C.V. Wood Jr. identified with Lake Havasu City as founder and master planner.
