Brigadier General Jedediah Huntington commanded Huntington’s Brigade in the division, which included the 1st Regiment Connecticut Infantry under Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Prentice, the 2nd Regiment Connecticut Infantry under Colonel Charles Webb, the 5th Regiment Connecticut Infantry under Colonel Philip B. Bradley, and the 7th Regiment Connecticut Infantry under Colonel Heman Swift.
