The Great Oak, or Wi’ia$ha (We-awsh-ah), is a Coast Live Oak, wi’ia$al, of the species Quercus agrifolia. Estimates of its age range from 500 to 2000 years. For centuries it has drawn people to share its unique and endearing qualities, including its Luiseño friends.
