The Eastern Carolina Silver Company, chartered on March 5, 1907, manufactured and sold coffee and tea sets, bread trays, bowls, candelabra, and cups. J. L. Coker served as president, W. F. Smith as vice president, and C. W. Coker as secretary and treasurer. By 1908 the company had begun to manufacture classically designed quadruple plate, some ornamented with cotton blossom motifs. The enterprise, located three blocks northeast, dissolved on November 25, 1909.
