Duffer Peak is the highest mountain in Nevada’s Pine Forest Range in the state’s northwestern region and is one of Nevada’s more prominent summits, ranking twenty-second statewide by topographic prominence. Located on public land managed by the Bureau of Land Management, it has no access restrictions. As the high point of the Pine Forest Range, it holds particular importance within the remote mountain landscape of northwestern Nevada.
