Bog Hot Springs is a thermal spring in far northwestern Nevada, south of the Oregon border, in Bog Hot Valley near Continental Lake, the Pueblo Mountains, and Baltazor Hot Springs. Long used for both practical needs and recreation, its water has supplied livestock, irrigated hay, and now serves as a domestic source on Bog Hot Springs Ranch while also supporting mineral bathing. Although the spring lies on private land at the Bog Hot Springs Cattle Ranch, it is open to the public without charge. Geologically, it belongs to a fault-controlled thermal area, with hot water emerging in high volume and cooling after flowing through the desert.
