Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Facility is a rare surviving example of an independent specialty automobile company that manufactured hand-crafted automobiles from 1903 until 1937. The administration building, including its original art deco showroom and design studios, the Cord L-29 assembly building, and the service and parts building represent different stages in automobile design and production from the drafting table to the finished product. The facility has national significance in the history of the United States of America.
