This memorial honors departed comrades from Irvington who served their country during the Great World War: Fred D. Mason, who died in Germany on August 20, 1921, and Robert H. Barker, who died in service on November 14, 1918. It was rebuilt in May 1988 as an Eagle Scout project of Ashley Lewis Robertson of Kilmarnock Troop 242.
