The Joseph and Abbie Andrew House survived an arson attempt in 1905 and another fire in 1923. Joseph Andrew lost an arm while serving with Garfield's Regiment in the Civil War. He later became president of Old Phoenix Bank, county treasurer, clerk of courts, and mayor of Medina. The Malloy family sold off the land to the east, which now bears their name.
