Kenneth W. Brill, reared and schooled in old Kaw City, entered the energy field as a young man. He joined Continental Oil Company in 1930 and eventually became Vice President and Regional Manager of the Rocky Mountain Region in Denver, Colorado. After retiring from Conoco Inc., he became associated with Eastern American Energy Corporation as Chairman of the Board of Directors. His ties to Kaw City remained strong, and he continued to take part in local activities. When the Kaw City Museum needed to expand, he was the first to donate to the building fund, and his continued participation and major financial support enabled the museum to build a new addition dedicated May 28, 1995.
