The Muhammad Ali Center in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, is a nonprofit museum and cultural center dedicated to the life, legacy, and broader influence of Louisville native Muhammad Ali. Founded by Ali and his wife, Lonnie Ali, it opened on November 19, 2005, presenting him not only as a boxing champion but also as a public figure shaped by belief and activism. Its exhibits are organized around six principles associated with his life and include memorabilia, a recreated training camp ring, fight footage, interviews, interactive story booths, and art galleries. In 2020, its wider significance was recognized through inclusion on the U.S. Civil Rights Trail.
