Olmstead Place State Park in Kittitas County preserves a 217-acre working pioneer farm as both a historic site and an outdoor recreation area. Its character comes from a living farm museum that presents the region’s pioneer past through an active historic farm setting rather than a static exhibit. Alongside that preserved agricultural landscape, the park offers picnicking, hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, and interpretive programs.
