Rattlesnake Knob is a summit in Sauk County, Wisconsin, about five miles west of Wisconsin Dells along Route H. At 1,204 feet, it is the 105th highest summit in the state and stands beside the Haystack Hills. Its name comes from rattlesnakes that settlers reported seeing there, preserving an early link between local people and the landscape. Today it is chiefly recognized as a local high point in the hilly country west of Wisconsin Dells.
