Arthur "Artie" Bernard served as Police Chief of the Village of St. Henry from 1968 to 1998, and with his wife Janet worked tirelessly on many community projects. They served the entire community as caring individuals, continued to spend countless hours as Santa's helpers after founding Santa's House in 1970, and helped make St. Henry a safe community in which to live and raise children.
