St. George Island State Park occupies the eastern end of St. George Island in northwestern Florida, protecting Gulf and bay shoreline in a relatively undeveloped coastal setting. Known for its highly regarded beach, the park also offers swimming, picnicking, birding, boating, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, and interpretive exhibits.
