The Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Depot was built in 1927 for passenger and freight service. Constructed of red brick and heart pine at a cost of $13,207.00, it reflects the architectural style of the early 1900s with large extended eaves, outdoor platforms, and segregated waiting rooms. Workmen cleared the site using scythe and grubbing hoe. In 1988, the Zephyrhills City Council accepted ownership and moved the building west 200 feet. The area is now known as Depot Park, and restoration was completed in May 1997.
