Cleveland’s Baseball Heritage Museum, founded in 1997 from Robert Zimmer’s family collection, preserves the city’s baseball past at historic League Park in the Hough neighborhood. What began with displays centered on Cleveland baseball grew into a broader collection covering the major leagues, Negro leagues, women’s baseball, Caribbean leagues, and industrial and barnstorming teams. After earlier homes downtown and at the Euclid Arcade, the museum moved in 2014 into League Park’s restored former ticket house as part of the ballpark’s renovation. Beyond exhibitions, it has become a community hub for baseball history, festivals, youth clinics, events, and travel baseball programs.
