Hitchcock, U.S. Marine Corps, killed at Bull Run, Va., July 21, 1861, aged 21 years; Asa A. Palmer, Co. F, 1st. Vt. Cavalry, died at Annapolis, Md., March 11, 1862, aged 18 years; Corpl. Henry B. North, Co. K, 1st. Vt. Cavalry, died in Rebel Hospital at Winchester, Va., May 25, 1862, aged 29 years; Sergt. Edward Dorsey, Co. B, 5th. Vt. Regt., killed at Savage Station, Va., June 29, 1862, aged 24 years; Sergt. Victor A. Jones, Co F, 5th. Vt. Regt., died July 19, 1862, aged 22 years; Corpl. Ira Farnham, Co. D, 14th. Vt. Regt., died Nov. 24, 1862, aged 21 years; Charles F. Powers, Co. B, 11th. Vt. Regt., died at Ft. Stevens, D.C., December 18, 1862, aged 18 years; Henry Nicholson, Co B, 11th. Vt. Regt., died March 20, 1863, aged 29 years; Joseph Bolt, Co. B, 5th. Vt. Regt., died of wounds received in battle in April 1863, aged 30 years; William Higgins, Co. K, 20. Vt. Regt., killed at Banks Ford, Va., May 4, 1863, aged 24 years; Alfred L. Reed, Co. B, 11th. Vt. Regt., died at Ft. Slocum, D.C., October 5, 1863, aged 38 years; Thaddeus A. Canfield, Co. K, 1st. Vt. Cavalry, died at Richmond, Va., January 8, 1864, aged 22 years; Sergt. John Kalaher, Co. K, 2d. Vt. Regt., killed at Spottsylvania, Va., May 12, 1864, aged 29 years; Moses H. Keefe, Co A, 5th. Vt. Regt., killed at Cold Harbor, Va., June 3, 1864, aged 31 years; Alfred Mossey, Co. K, 1st Vt. Cavalry, died at Andersonville, Ga., June 1864, aged 24 years; Isaac H. Lewis, Co. K, 1st Vt. Cavalry, died of wounds received in battle, June 20, 1864, aged 20 years; Lucius G. Northrup, Co. H, 4th U.S. Infantry, died at Andersonville, Ga., July 4, 1864, aged 18 years; Peter Ladam, Co. A, 5th. Vt. Regt., killed at Charlestown, Va., August 21, 1864, aged 18 years; John Woodward, Co. B, 11th. Vt. Regt., killed at Cedar Creek, Va., October 19, 1864, aged 23 years; and Corpl. Lewis Young, Co. F, 5th. Vt. Regt., killed at Petersburgh, Va., April 2, 1865, aged 22 years.
