Mount Hereford, also called Mont Hereford, is an 864-metre mountain in Quebec's Estrie region near Coaticook. Its name comes from Hereford in England, although an 1832 dictionary recorded it as Hereford Mountain, and locally it is also known as Montagne à Goyette or Montagne chez Goyette, meaning Goyette’s Mountain. The mountain is a recreational destination, with the 12-kilometre Neil Tillotson Hiking Trail leading to the summit. Access points include Clowery Road in Saint-Herménégilde and Coaticook Road in East Hereford, and the surrounding area is also used for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and wildlife observation.
