Sable Falls is a 75-foot waterfall on Sable Creek in the easternmost part of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan, accessible from H-58 west of Grand Marais. The falls plunge over Munising and Jacobsville sandstone about half a mile from Lake Superior. Stairs make the main falls relatively easy to reach, and from 2007 to 2010 the National Park Service extended the boardwalk downstream so visitors could also view the lower falls and rapids on Sable Creek. Even with those improvements, the site remains inaccessible to people using wheelchairs.
