The pavilion was one of the main centers of community life at Fullerton, where social events were frequently held, dances drew local townspeople, and the Fullerton Band gave concerts every Saturday. Other community organizations also used it, including the Flower Club, Boy Scouts, Women's Clubs, churches, and other civic groups. Rallies and other political events were held there, and during the holiday seasons it was a favorite spot for social gatherings as well as a nice setting for chaperoned couples. The modern pavilion is a close replica of the original and stands as a testament to the community spirit of Fullerton both past and present.
