Farnsworth Public Library in Oconto, designed by architect Henry Foeller, was completed in 1903 after Oconto lumberman George Farnsworth donated $15,000 for the building and delivered the dedicatory address. A beautiful example of the Neoclassical Revival style, the library became a vital institution in Oconto, and its expansion in 1993 reflected that importance.
