The Cowley Log Community Center was constructed in 1935-36 after its original cornerstone was placed on February 25, 1935. Known as the "Home of the Jaguars," it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, restored in 2012-2013, and rededicated after a new cornerstone was placed on June 23, 2013.
