Thimble Peak is a prominent mountain in the Santa Catalina Mountains north of Tucson, Arizona, on the south side of the range within the Pusch Ridge Wilderness of Coronado National Forest. Rising from the foothills between Bear Canyon and Sabino Canyon, it is widely recognized for the distinctive cap at its top that gives the peak its name. Its location above two major canyons and its strong profile along the desert edge make it a familiar feature in views from the Tucson area. Reaching the summit is not a simple hike, because there are no trails to the top and the final climb requires technical class 3 to 5 skills.
