The F-4 Phantom was a multi-role fighter built by McDonnell-Douglas with a maximum speed of 1,500 miles per hour, a maximum range of 2,300 miles, a maximum payload of 16,000 pounds, two General Electric J-79 engines, and Westinghouse APQ-109 radar. A total of 5,195 were built, and this aircraft was acquired in 12/99 from the U.S. Army Proving Grounds in Aberdeen, Maryland.
