Hubbell Trading Post is the oldest operating trading post on the Navajo Nation, a mercantile in Ganado that has been selling goods and Native American art since 1878. Visitors enter over a squeaky wooden floor into the dimly lit "bullpen." Spring is normally windy, summer can reach the high 90s with thunderstorms beginning in July and continuing into August, fall brings cooler weather, and recent winters have been dry with a couple of inches of snow.
