Hyōgo Prefectural Museum of Archaeology in Harima, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan, opened in 2007 beside the Ōnaka Site and serves as a central institution for the prefecture’s archaeological heritage. It presents finds from across Hyōgo, including two Important Cultural Properties: assemblages of artefacts excavated from Ikeda Kofun in Asago and from Miidani No. 2 Tumulus in Yabu. With these holdings and several Prefectural Tangible Cultural Properties, the museum brings together significant material evidence of the region’s past in one place.
