Old Town Victorville remembers local men and women from its streets, stores, schools, and neighborhoods who answered the nation’s call in times of war and conflict, returned home on leave in uniform, and in many cases were sent away in a final goodbye. The memorial honors veterans and those killed in service from World War II, Vietnam, Korea, Granada, Germany, Iraq, and Afghanistan/Iraq, including members of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Army Air Corps, U.S. Navy Air Corps, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Merchant Marine, and USAAC, and it expresses an enduring promise that they will always be remembered.
