Built about 1855 at the Hamilton Creek Crossing on the Old Llano to Austin Road, the Stage Stop served early settlers for many years. This building was made from the remains of that Stage Stop and was given by Mrs. W.A. Kroeger, Sr., then moved to the fort in 1964.
