Boise Ridge is a forested north–south ridge in the western Washington Cascade Range, about four miles east of Enumclaw. It forms part of the range’s western edge, lying between Enumclaw Mountain to the north and Radio Hill to the south, with Grass Mountain to the east. The ridge’s character is shaped by both terrain and water: runoff from its east side enters Boise Creek and then the White River, while water from the west side drains toward Newaukum Creek and the Green River system. Boise Ridge also reflects the west Cascades’ marine west coast climate, with wet winters, frequent cold-season cloud cover, and clearer summers.
